Church Community
שלום “Shalom” signifies wholeness, peace, fulfillment, the absence of chaos and the covenanted relationship between God and God’s people.

Shalom Seattle is a new ministry in formative stages that is a part of the urban church multiplication movement as an intentional clustering of Christ-centered, missional, organic communities. Effectively Shalom Seattle is about collaboration within missional communities, sharing resources and leadership, and gathering together purposefully to combine strengths in activities that glorify God.

Shalom is about generative friendship within the big “C” Church for the sake of missionality.

Denomination / other affiliation
Christian Church - non-denominational
Church location Ciy and Neighborhood
Crown Hill neighborhood of Seattle
Describe your church plant or ministry, your context and some of your mission priorities.
Shalom Seattle personifies the gospel in the city through service and by extending and receiving personal invitations. Emphasizing relational over program driven ministry, Shalom shifts the focus from one-leader/one-day to following Jesus in community throughout the week.

Bro - I'm sorry I dropped the ball on this one. Can you propose a date later next week.

You wanna stop by the Mustard Seed House?

Chivo,

Certainly. Just propose a couple days that work for you.
The next 2 weeks are packed for me but we can work something out after that.

Peace.

Your first assignment is to follow-up with Dwayne? of the Crown Hill Bistro, or Library Café as it's known today, and invite me out for a Burgers and Beers session when they're ready. Next assignment, help me get the city to put a four-way stop sign at our intersection of 8th Ave NW and NW 90th; we had two serious accidents within one week recently!
Welcome to the neighborhood!

My wife and I just adopted, and so we're pretty slammed at the moment. Next month or so I'd love to connect. I'm also working with two other church planters who are more free than I am, and better company anyway. What you're doing sounds awesome, I'd love to swap stories.
